When it comes to sports, some of them can be quite pricey just to play. This is because some sports require you to buy all sorts of gear just to play. On top of that, there are also rules to some of these games and you might need to invest even more money just buying specific apparel that is required to play a certain game. For example, when you are buying apparel to play a game of American Football, you have to invest in a good pair of cleats, inner clothing that will reduce body heat, shoulder pads, knee guards, elbow guards, a mouth guard, a jersey to cover all the armor, socks and a helmet. Imagine how much money you will be spending on that set alone! But you can avoid all of that if you play a sport that doesn't need too much gear or apparel. Here are some sports that you can play and enjoy without too much money involved for the things that you need to be able to play. • Bowling – In the sport of bowling, all you really need is a pair of good bowling shoes, a bowling ball and a bowling ball bag. You can then dress smartly for the game by putting on a pair of slacks and a collared shirt. This is a game that requires decency but does not require you to buy a special uniform just to play. • Basketball – Thinking of playing basketball but not exactly joining a team for competitions? Then you don't need to buy a uniform just to play the game. In fact, all you need to play the game is a pair of shorts, a good t-shirt, and most importantly, a great pair of basketball shoes. You can enjoy the sport and with your extra money you can probably even set up your own small court in your yard and buy your own ball. • Swimming – This has got to be the cheapest sport that you can join. All you need is a pair of swimming trunks. But there are other things that you can buy but are not required and this includes a swimming cap to keep your hair out of the way in the water and a pair of goggles so that you can see where you swimming while you are doing your laps. Other than these items, there is nothing much else needed but a towel to help dry you out. • Table Tennis – Got a pair of shorts, a good shirt, a pair of sneakers to give you good traction and a ping pong racket? Then you are ready to actually play table tennis even at a competition level. Not much needed except for the other items that include the table itself, the net, and the ping pong balls. • Running – When it comes to running, you can actually run in anything. Of course, you will need the right shoes and if you are truly serious, you need to run in shorts and a shirt. There are other fancy things that you can buy like a GPS tracker and a step counter to help you track your laps but these things are not that necessary. All that is really important is your cross-trainers and the clothes that will help you move easier as you run. |
